Bale Insurance Group grew as an offshoot of Bale Tobacco Marketing which operates tobacco receiving stations in Glasgow and Elizabethtown. The Bale family has owned and operated tobacco markets across south-central Kentucky for many years serving generations of tobacco farmers in many rural communities. The Bale Insurance Group continues the philosophy of service that helped the Bale family succeed in the tobacco business as well as their other business ventures. Our agents work hard to help our customers develop a crop insurance plan that helps cover their risks so they, and their bankers, can sleep better at night.
Jeremy Hinton is a native of LaRue County and is part of the eight generation of his family to farm in the county. He graduated from the University Of Kentucky College Of Agriculture and returned home to his family’s farm. His career in crop insurance began in 2000 when he began working with a local independent agency in Hodgenville. From there, he grew his business and joined the Bale Tobacco Marketing Elizabethtown team in 2002. The following spring, the agency that is now Bale Insurance Group was formed and Jeremy began his work there. Throughout his 12 years in the industry, Jeremy has worked with his grain and tobacco customers to learn about their operation in order to develop an insurance program that fits the individual operation and its unique risks. Jeremy & his wife Joanna live on their diversified farm in LaRue County with their two children, Jacob and Joslyn. You can reach Jeremy by phone at 270-268-5333 or by email at jeremy@baleinsurancegroup.com.
Linda London has been a part of the Bale Tobacco Marketing team for many years. She works with growers in the Glasgow receiving station. Her career in crop insurance began in the spring of 2003 with the creation of the agency that is now Bale Insurance Group. She had a head start on her career, however, because of her close relationship with many of her customers and her knowledge of their operations, personalities, and needs. Linda works hard to see that each of her customers has the coverage that they need to limit their risk exposure. While her focus has been primarily tobacco, as the operations of her customers have diversified, she has diversified her knowledge of crop insurance as well. You can reach Linda in the office at 270-651-5101 or by email at linda@baleinsurancegroup.com.
